Argox Talent Development workshop is honored to invite Mr. Wu Zhengda (Jess), founder of JC Capital, to lead colleagues in exploring how to become a data-driven enterprise. During Jess's opening, Argox colleagues responded enthusiastically, offering different ideas about what data is. Some viewed it as a trajectory and trend, while others saw it as financial and performance figures. Some likened it to building blocks or clay that can be molded into various models, while others saw it as a tool for managing performance indicators. These were our past perceptions, but looking at the present and future, data is becoming an asset for enterprises.
In the past, data reports were generated to draw conclusions for future decisions. Now, data analysis is used for business intelligence to make decisions or adjustments based on real-time information. In the future, data-driven approaches will use AI/ML to guide future directions. This is how enterprises utilize and direct their data capabilities.
In the future, data will move from being retrospective to proactive. From collecting, analyzing, finding insights in data to finally take action, the key takeaway is: start with the end. If you don't use data for decision-making, it's like tossing coins; collecting a bunch of data and making decisions but not taking action, it is futile. So, the most important thing is to take action!
